HOW TO SPONSOR

We are a team that consists of high school students who do not have a way to amass revenue for ourselves. Although we are financially supported by Girl Scouts, the organization does not cover all the expenses of being an FRC team. While the majority of our funds are used to construct the robot, we also need to pay the initial competition fees, rooming for competitions, and more. Furthermore, per Girl Scout regulations, we cannot accept direct donations from businesses, individuals, or similar entities. Sponsorships and one-time gifts help us cover these costs.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

Gadget Girls is an all-girls FIRST® Robotics team and a proud program of Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines. We open the door to competitive robotics for any girl who wants to walk through it, whatever her background and whether or not she has ever picked up a tool before. We bring together two things girls rarely get in the same place: the hands-on rigor of competitive robotics and the century of leadership development that the Girl Scouts name stands for. Every season, our students design, build, and compete with a robot of their own making, and every season they prove that the gender gap in STEAM is not a matter of ability but of opportunity.

Your sponsorship is what keeps that opportunity open. It funds our parts, our tools, and our travel to competition. It sustains the outreach events where we put robotics directly into the hands of young audiences, often for the first time. And it sends a clear message to every girl who has ever wondered whether STEAM has a place for her: it does, and the door is already open.

We are not only teaching students to build a robot. We are carrying forward the Girl Scouts mission of courage, confidence, and character, and we are doing it through engineering. A girl can arrive on day one knowing nothing about robotics and leave knowing she belongs in the room. She learns that curiosity, persistence, and the confidence to try again after something breaks are skills that carry into any field she chooses. When you support Gadget Girls, you are investing in girls who will go on to engineer, to lead, and to hold that same door open for the girls who come after them.

Your sponsorship guarantees visibility at a minimum of two District competitions and at every outreach event we host. As our team advances through the District, your visibility advances with us. Beyond competition exposure, sponsoring the team means you will:
